OHIO COUNTY, W.Va. (WTRF) — Five local attorneys have been shortlisted for this year’s West Virginia Super Lawyers.
Less than 5% of attorneys in the state are selected for this high honor.
The law firm Bordas and Bordas has offices in the Ohio Valley and in Pittsburgh.
The lawyers selected from Bordas and Bordas are Geoffrey Brown, Scott Blass, Jason Causey, Richard Monahan and Jamie Bordas.
Bordas has been the managing partner since 2005 and he says he is honored to be on the list.
Super Lawyers is a program launched by Thomson Reuters, which is one of the leading providers of lawyers. The reason this award is such great recognition is that it is voted for by your peers.
Other lawyers decide who they think is worthy of this Super Lawyer designation and for me and a number of other lawyers in our firm to receive this honor for several years now is certainly something special for us.
Jamie Bordas, Managing Partner
Bordas works on cases involving a long list of areas of law and he is a frequent speaker at skills and techniques conferences.
The annual selection of Super Lawyers is made through a statewide attorney survey, research evaluation, and peer review.
Congratulations to the Super Lawyers 2022.
