A BRADFORD law firm has appointed the former regional head of a global banking group as a consultant.
Gordons has appointed Martin Lunt, who has over 40 years of corporate banking experience and was previously Head of Yorkshire and North East Corporate Banking at HSBC.
He will assist the firm’s partners in the implementation of its business development charity.
Mr Lunt said: “I have known Gordons well from my time at HSBC.
“The company has always been enterprising and progressive.
“I also know of many organizations in the North that would benefit from Gordons’ personal and business approach.
“I will be making presentations to the leaders of these companies and I will support the successful strategy that the company is currently implementing.”
In his role at HSBC, Mr Lunt has built relationships between the bank and a wide range of companies with turnover ranging from £ 30million to £ 1 billion.
Paul Ayre, Managing Partner of Gordons, added: “Martin enjoys an excellent reputation as a trusted advisor to business leaders across the region.
“He shares our simple way of doing business and will be a great asset to the company.
“You can’t have enough quality individuals with his kind of experience. Customers and colleagues alike will benefit. ”
Gordons currently counts colleagues from Bradford, Morrisons, as well as B&M, AO, Ocado, Wren Kitchens and international brewers Molson Coors among his clients.
