Willkie Farr & Gallagher has added Linklaters partner Daniel Gendron to its financial practice, according to a company press release Thursday.
Gendron had been a partner at Linklaters since 2013 according to his Linkedin profile. He was previously a partner at Borden Ladner Gervais.
His departure is the latest in a series of partner departures for Linklaters this week.
Hong Kong entrepreneur Gilbert Li and his partner Iris Yeung joined Allen & Overy while his US co-chairman Erez Liebermann moved to Debevoise & Plimpton, just over a year after being in the business .
In April, Christian Ahlborn, antitrust partner and outgoing global head of the practice, joined Covington & Burling.
Willkie, meanwhile, has expanded its reach in the UK and Europe. In recent months, the company has expanded its offices in Frankfurt and Brussels. In January, the company hired two partners from DLA Piper in its London office.
In October 2021, he brought in a heavy antitrust and litigation team from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan.
