Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to President Biden at the White House, is the “foreign policy adviser” referred to in the indictment of former Hillary Clinton presidential campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, according to two well placed sources.
This is Special Advocate John Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation closest to anyone directly associated with the White House Biden.

Sussmann was charged with allegedly lying to the FBI on September 16 and pleaded not guilty to one count of making a false statement to a federal agent. This case arose out of Durham’s investigation into the origins of the Russia investigation.
Durham’s indictment alleges Sussmann told then FBI General Counsel James Baker that he was not working “for any client” when he requested and held a meeting in September 2016 during which he provided evidence of an alleged secret channel of communication between then-candidate Donald Trump and Russia. .
In fact, he later billed the Clinton campaign for the reunion, according to Durham charge. The FBI also looked at the story of the alleged link between Trump’s presidential campaign and the Russian bank, it turned out to be false.

Durham’s indictment sets out a scenario in which an anonymous Clinton campaign lawyer “exchanged emails with the Clinton campaign manager, communications director and foreign policy adviser. [Jake Sullivan] regarding the Russian Bank-1 allegations that Sussmann had recently shared, ”with an anonymous reporter.
There is no indication that Sullivan is a target of the Durham investigation, only that he received information from Sussmann.
Fox News has contacted Sullivan’s office for comment. White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre referred Fox News to the Justice Department and said the White House made no comment on Tuesday. “I don’t know anything about what you just mentioned,” Jean-Pierre said. “So I have to talk to our team.”
Durham’s indictment also alleges that Sussmann was working for a tech industry executive, a US internet company and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Prosecutors say Sussmann’s “lie” is important because he “misled the FBI General Counsel and other FBI staff members about the political nature of his work.”
Another grand jury indictment was handed down on November 4 for Igor Danchenko, a Russian analyst accused of being the main sub-source of the Steele case. He is charged with five counts of making false statements to the FBI and his next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
