Danny E Bunyi is a senior partner at DivinaLaw with over 30 years of legal experience in a wide range of areas, including corporate law, banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, as well as drafting and the review of commercial contracts.
Prior to joining DivinaLaw, Danny was Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary of the Development Bank of the Philippines, one of the country’s largest public banks. He is a lecturer at the Ateneo de Manila University John Gokongwei School of Management where he teaches corporate and partnership law. He also teaches the history and administration of trusts, gifts, wills and estates at the Trust Institute Foundation of the Philippines. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management majoring in Legal Management and Bachelor of Laws from Ateneo de Manila University.
His work serving the firm’s clients has earned him numerous awards in the areas of banking and finance, corporate and commercial law, private equity and venture capital. He was recognized as Recommended External Advisor of the Year in 2019 and 2021 by In-House Community.
