At least once a week, Rudy Giuliani – who is preparing for a hearing next month to see if he can keep his New York law license after his suspension this summer – can recently be found chilling out in the ” Sinatra Room ”.
It’s not a new bar in town, but the latest offering from white-shoeed law firm Aidala Bertuna & Kamins – which in addition to Giuliani has top clients like Alan Dershowitz, Harvey Weinstein and Curtis. “50 Cent” Jackson – to allow clients, partners and junior associates to relax.
The windowless room of the company’s chic Midtown offices at 546 Fifth Ave. includes a fully stocked bar, leather sofa, 65 inch TV with Sonos surround system, massage chair and yes – several likenesses of the Ol ‘Blue Eyes pendant light on the walls.
“The living room is not a gimmick,” her partner Arthur Aidala told On the Money. “We’re all struggling with work-life balance issues right now, and I know a lot of law firms don’t come into the office.”
Installed as part of renovations earlier this year, the Sinatra Room has become a place to take naps and naps. The bar, a red Art Deco room with wheels that used to be in Aidala’s grandparents’ apartment in the Bronx, is mostly stocked with gifts from customers, including bourbon, gin, and Campari – the favorite of Aidala’s wife, Marianne Bertuna. A recent photo shows two bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label, which cost over $ 200 each.
“It’s more of a cocktail environment,” Aidala said, conceding that beer – even the craft variety – is not a priority.
When Guilani or Dershowitz come to the office, Sinatra’s music is played in the living room, Aidala said. Giuliani is frequently seen after a New York court ruled he made “patently false and misleading statements” while debunking the 2020 election results on behalf of former President Trump.

In Dershowitz’s case, Aidala helps him lead a high-profile battle against compatriot David Boies. While the latter represented Jeffrey Epstein’s accuser Virginia Giuffre, who accused Dershowitz of sexual assault, Dershowitz accused the Boies cabinet of “extortion, bribery, perjury and other crimes.”

“If a deposition becomes difficult, I will take our client out of the conference room into the salon, put on some spa music and give them a break,” Aidala said. “And I told my lawyers to go and sit in the massage chair for five minutes.”
Other law firms in the city are doubling their offices, including Lowenstein Sandler, who added 25,000 square feet for “new restaurant-style dining space as well as fitness, health and wellness facilities.” -be enlarged, ”the cabinet announced in September.

At Aidala Bertuna & Kamins, lawyers are known to come to the salon and watch movies like “Pulp Fiction” and “The Godfather” on weekends. The renovation also included converting the men’s and women’s bathrooms into four single rooms fitted with sensor bidet toilets with heated seats.
“My biggest regret is that I didn’t have a shower installed,” Aidala said, referring to the nights he and the staff worked, well, “the wee hours of the morning,” as Frank would have said.
